A large section of the existing rear wall was taken out to create an open kitchen/living space and replaced with supporting steel beams. All structural calculations were provided by Concept Architecture and Planning Ltd.
The bi-fold doors and velux windows introduce more natural light into the kitchen/dining space and create a physical and visual relationship between the indoor and outdoor environment.
The levelling of the garden and newly introduced patio area with timber sleeper retaining walls provides more of an invitation to use the garden from the newly constructed extension.
